Baby names are something people take very seriously, and for some reason, certain names for boys and girls tend to become popular every few years and stay that way for a while until they are replaced by other favorite names. The result is that you have a lot of people named Mandy, for example, who are all about the same age within a five year span. Or maybe a lot of Jacobs. Then those names are replaced by Taylor and Zachary, maybe. That’s kind of off the wall, and interesting to note in historic patterns.
